1.Q: What are the main strength elements for a hoverboard? Is the user safe when operating a hoverboard?
1.A: First of all, the main difference between a hoverboard's lifespan of "years" vs "months" or "days", is the chassis composition: Unlike most cheap hoverboards in the US and EUROPE that have plastic and other materials in the chassis composition that are easily deformable, ALL original Smart Balance hoverboards have chassis composed entirely of metal (aluminum – light, but tough), reinforced at key weight and pressure points. We mean business when it comes to user safety, be it an adult, and especially children. Our advice is: no matter where you buy your hoverboard from, it must have a metal chassis, preferably aluminum. You’ll thank us later for this advice! Secondly, the wheel frame of a hoverboard must be made out of metal to support the weight of you or your child. The wheel frame of a Smart Balance Original hoverboard is always made of Aluminum Alloy, not plastic or other easily breakable or deformable materials.

2.Q: What are the optimal specifications of current technology for the autonomy of a Hoverboard?
2.A: Most hoverboards on sale in Europe and the USA have a standard 8-10 cell 1500-1800 mAh battery, which gives it a range of 4-6km on a 0 degree slope, and a 20kg user. All Smart Balance Original hoverboards are equipped with a high performance battery pack, with a total capacity of 4000mAh , Samsung Cells Only. The energy-capacity assembly together with Smart Balance's patented self-cleaning and fast self-balancing technology, ensures a range of up to 15 km.  

3.Q: Can the Hoverboard be used by both adults and children?
3.A: Any Smart Balance Hoverboard can be used by both adults and children with no age limit. Our recommendation is a minimum weight of 25kg, and a maximum weight of 90kg.

4.Q: Is there more than one colour or model for hoverboards?

5.A: The use of the hoverboard is not dependent on the age of the children, but it is important that the person using the product has a weight of about 25-30 kg for best control.

6.Q: What does auto-balance mean?
6.A: The Auto-balance is a state-of-the-art system that self-balances the hoverboard parallel to the ground, greatly reducing the risk of accidents when using the product.
